Portfolio Wisley Garden
The garden is designed for a young couple who have moved to the city from the countryside. It is an abstract space dominated by two, mounded earth structures planted with a sedum turf. These shapes cut into the simple design layout. The exposed flanks will reveal the internal stone strata of the structures.
The plant species have been selected for leaf texture and colour rather than flower. Deep colours, such as purples, red and yellows repeat throughout the scheme.
Construction start in Winter 2007.
